I’ve got one of your books & am planning to release it for gypsysmom’s Canada Day Release Challenge on BookCrossing (I notice you have a link to BXing on your Blogroll–cool). There’s one of those maple leaf library stickers on it which is what drew me to buy it for the Challenge, but I can’t seem to confirm anywhere that you’re Canadian. So are you a Canuck?

  2. Hello ‘ibis3’!!

I am a proud Canadian! Isn’t BookCrossing a great way to interact with the world? I’m sorry I missed the Canada Day Release challenge, but I am sooo proud that one of my books was released… I hope you did release it? I would be interested in following it, so I’m going to take a look on BookCrossing and see if I can find it.

BTW, I just added you to my (paltry) friends list.

    Donna,

KUDOS to you!! I’m sure you have heard of Stephenie Meyer. After reading her Twilight series, I could not finish a book or even get past the first seven chapters, until I read AWAITING THE MOON. Your writing style is beyond words; absolutely makes me feel young again, like when you first fall in love or see the man of your dreams and get those butterflies. I will be buying the rest of your books at my first opportunity. Thanks for sharing!

  7. Wow, Jennifer… thank you so much! That is high praise indeed. Keep reading!!

I have been a fan of Victoria Holt for more years than I care to count so was delighted when I came across “Lady Anne and the Howl in the Dark.” I looked for the sequel everywhere, checked for a website & a blog. I’m sorry to hear there has been a delay. The winds of change are always daunting, but they can be the forerunner of new and better things to come. I pray that will be so for you. I shall watch for the next Lady Anne book and will also try to keep up with what ever else you are doing.

    Chin up,
    Kaye

    • Kaye, how nice of you to say that!

Books 2 & 3 of the Lady Anne trilogy will be published, and it will be this year. So far as I know, they will only be offered for sale online; I am keeping everyone up to date on that through my newsletter.

If you would like to be informed of the publication dates, please email me at donna – at – donnaleasimpsondotcom with the subject line ‘Newsletter’, and I’ll add you to my newsletter list!

Again, thank you so much for your kind comments. Exciting things are happening, and I’m looking forward to sharing my news soon with everyone!
